Services

The service I (the coach) provide is coaching, not to be considered as psychological counselling nor therapy, nor medical consult.

During our work together we may address professional as well as private matters.

Commitment

Your request for coaching makes me assume you want to make substantial changes in your life. Changes may occur at different speeds. It might be swift, slow and anything in between. Therefore, I request a minimum of 3 months or 6 sessions for this process to unfold. This grants the coaching relationship power and time to develop.

Whenever, during this phase, there is a motivation to change our agreement, please reach out. In that case, we can arrange a time slot to discuss the matter and find a mutual understanding to talk about what is needed. By doing that, honouring the relationship, coachee and coach.

This time slot would not be part of the coaching journey as described in the agreement and therefore free of additional charge.

After our initial period, we, if appropriate, can continue on a customised basis.

Confidentiality & Ethics

I hold our relationship and work together confidential. Unless applicable law dictates otherwise. I do request that I log for myself that you are a coachee and our hours together. I need to do so for my professional accreditation with the ICF (International Coaching Federation). The ICF conducts periodic audits.

Whenever an audit would be happening, I will reach out to ask for permission in relation to what is asked by the ICF.

I’m loyal to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Guarantees

As a coach I cannot guarantee results. You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and their outcomes. My commitment is to provide support as agreed upon, to nourish and stimulate your growth.

Working platform

Our work together will happen using video conferencing. I work with ZOOM. When there is a request to use an alternative communication platform, I’m open to designing that together.

Scheduling

In honour of our time, we agree to begin and end sessions as agreed upon up front. A session includes 60 minutes, except for the discovery session, which takes 90 minutes. We customise our time slots to our agendas.

Scheduling changes

When sessions need to be rescheduled, 24 hours’ notice is required both ways, apart from emergencies or illness. Missing a session without 24 hours’ notice is considered a paid session. Me not showing up without 24 hours’ notice from my side will entitle you with a session free of charge.

Fees

To be discussed.

The invoice will be sent monthly.

In between sessions

In between sessions I’m open to receive and answer mails. It might take a few days before I reply. When holidays occur, we will discuss up front how to work with that.

Whenever a short personal contact is needed (videoconference or phone), that is possible. When the personal contact takes more than 10 minutes, we need to decide whether an additional session is wished for.

Closing the coaching arch

We agree to provide each other with a notice when there is a wish to end the relationship prior to the period agreed upon. My request is, in that event, to have a brief conversation to capture our learning around the decision and discuss what is next for you after this journey.

When our journey comes to an end as agreed upon, we agree on having a completion session. This may last between 15 and 30 minutes and is free of charge. The aim is to lock in the learning and make space to properly complete our relationship.

Issues

My intention is to have an open, honest, and trusting relationship and communication. I believe it grants power to the relationship and the coaching. In the event that I might say or do something that does not feel correct, please let me know. In that way we can look for a way to resolve what is needed. I commit to design and redesign our relationship in order to support your growth and objectives to the fullest possible within my power.

Whenever an issue needs to be resolved on a legal level, it needs to happen according to the Belgian Jurisdiction.
